FROM CONDITIONALS TO BILLIONAIRES - AN ONLINE GAME

The question of the day is:
Who Wants to be a Billionaire?

Today everything is possible! ...
... because you can play the game.
Show how much you know about conditionals and be the winner.

The game features:
- it can be played in two teams or solo,
- it's possible to enter your own name or a nickname,
- sound can be muted,
- the virtual coin toss tells you which team starts,
- helplines are available (at least the 50/50 one)
- you can change current team or play until the opposite team gives an incorrect answer,
- timer available: 40 sec.
- the player characters give you giggles as they cheer in a funny way.

Check it out for yourself.

AN ORGANIZER AND A BUNCH OF USEFUL TOOLS

Do you know this feeling of excitement when
you find something great in the abyss of the Internet and
you add a bookmark and after a while
you find another great thing and
you add yet another bookmark
and after such a few sprees
you have a long chaotic list of bookmarks.

Sure, there is a simple solution or even two.
You can always use the search box to find the bookmark you need.
Or you can create folders to sort them.

From today on, you can add one more fix to this repertoire.

Instead of folders, you can add webmixes.
Instead of bookmarks, you can add tiles.

Why bother and change anything?

For me,
More attractive interface - than the one in my browser.
Easier access - one click and you're on the website you want.
Plenty of ways to use it - for you to discover yourselves ☺.

What's the whole fuss about?

It's ⏩ SYMBALOO

As a bonus, this link will take you to my webmix with a bunch of other useful tools which have the power to perk up your classes.

P.S.
If you're confused about how to start using it, watch some video tutorials on youtube, e.g. this one.
If you need more inspiration on how to use it as an edu-tool e.g. click here.

ADJECTIVES IN ORDER

Today, it's time to boost the brain.

What you can see below is a handy mnemonic device which helps to retrieve the order of adjectives which we use to describe a thing or a person.

Of course, it rarely happens that we use all the categories to describe an object or a person at a time but I won't leave you without an example.

A Lovely Teeny-weeny Ancient Square Sunglow American Gold

pendant was found in the wreck of Titanic.

TIME-COUNTERS

Hi there!

Do you use timers in any form during your classes? A sandglass? Your mobile?

If not, I recommend them to spice up your lesson.
There's always this thrill of novelty and an element of interest for students.
It's also a nice tool for a teacher to control the time of an activity.

As for the sandglass, it should be placed somewhere within the sight.
As for the mobile timer, one of the students can be chosen to be responsible for controlling the time. Its advantage is that it usually produces a sound when the countdown ends.

Yet, there is one more option. An ONLINE TIMER. You can find your favourite one. There are plenty of them on the Net.
If you want to save time, you can visit

and choose one which suits your needs best.
The advantage of these is that you can project them on the wall so that everybody can see it.
Visualisation is a great thing, after all.
