B+ PROJECT

It's in human nature that we tend to see more negative things rather that those positive ones (and yes, they happen to us every day!)

I know it, and I believe you know it too, that it's better to focus on the bright side (= .

Today I suggest working on that while practising your English at the same time.
(Why not KILL TWO BIRDS WITH ONE STONE?)

The idea is simple.

Starting from today and repeating the routine through the next 7 days,
plan 10 minutes of your day.
Spend them on recollecting 3 things that made you happy that (or previous) day
and write them down.

If you're afraid that nothing good happens to you, look at the example.

Today I'm happy/ thankful / grateful
- for a short walk with my dog in the park,
- that I didn't have to wait in a long queue in a supermarket,
- that I could stay in bed forty minutes longer than usually.

ASKING AND GIVING DIRECTIONS - MEMO ONLINE

Hi there!
Some time ago I mentioned Memory Game Creator and here it comes in practice again!

Feel free to use the game where the rules are simple
- you need to match the pairs of pictures and phrases -.

If you are a student it's a nice way to learn / practice / revise the basic phrases for
ASKING AND GIVING DIRECTIONS.

If you are a teacher you can use it in the classroom (e.g. as a game for two or more opposing teams  / as a warm-up / as a time filler) or recommend it for further practice of phrases at home.

Here are the phrases:
1) cross the street
2) go past
3) go straight on
4) take the first turning
5) take the second turning
6) take the third turning
7) turn back
8) turn left
9) turn right

Here comes the link:
